Cottonland Design Co is an interior design company who specializes in creating warm, inviting spaces that feel like home from day one. She approached me in need of a branding to create cohesiveness in her identity and bring together more accurate portrayal of her personality and message. The process was fun and inspiring as we explored Cottonland's goals and personality and how we could best express that.

Our pattern and illustrations gave us opportunities to bring out personality in more depth. Our pattern incorporated the logo mark in combination with a spark to add a more feminine touch.
LOGO DESIGN
The primary logo is featured above and takes on a signature combination style. The lettering was chosen and styled in a way that creates a upscale feeling that encapsulates the Cottonland's process. We added a bit of subtle flare through the icon over the wordmark.
With the logo mark, it was important to create a dstinct mark with aspects from the brands personality and identity but keep it simplistic. Our end result was this simplistic icon created to resemble a cotton bulb and add interest by placing a house icon in the center.
